Fit for bed
One of the big challenges of my new training regime was always going to be the early morning runs; I love being out before the world wakes up, but I'm not a morning person and have always done my training in the afternoon or evening, and been fairly late going to bed.
Adequate sleep (at least 7-8 hours) is vital to wellbeing, performance, muscle repair and growth so if this is going to work I'm going to have to get used to earlier nights.
Tonight I'm trying Valerian Tea as reccomended by Kathleen Lisson in her albany runner blog. I'm also assured by my training partner that sleeping in the fetal positon can greatly improve the quality of sleep by reducing the number of times you turn in the night.
Let you know how it goes after my morning run tomorrow. Night.

Hi Alex,
My name is Annabel and I work for a newly-launched healthy energy drink called Orbana (www.orbana.com). Orbana healthy energy provides a sustained energy release without any caffeine, artificial sweeteners, colours or preservatives. It works by using a unique blend of complex carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and electrolytes to give you constant energy without the spike or crash.
I would love you to sample our product, but couldn't find any contact details for you on the blog. If you are interested please contact me on energy@orbana.com.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Many thanks,
Annabel
