Avacado... it's superfood, but remember its not an apple
Mrs Tucker tells me that avacado is a superfood, absolutely absolutely packed full of nutrients including vitamins A, B, C, D and E; manganese, potassium and lots of good calories (around 400 calories compared to a mere 230 in a Mars Bar).
Sounded like the perfect pre-race snack!
I ran to the local supermarket and bought a punnet, bunch, some poste haste, and in my enthusiasm skinned one and took a bite... erg! not nice!
I guess I was expecting it to be kind of... well fruity... it wasn't

2 avocados
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon cumin
3 Tablespoons lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
pinch of oregano
